does ebay use western union?

I have been emailing a party about a car on craigs list.They say they use ebay for transactions.and want me to send them $2400 via western union. The price of the car is $4400. The car is worth about $14000 does this sound like a scam?

SCAM!!!!! Do NOT send any money. Read about the scam warnings on the craigslist home page and on ebay. Hey Shaq is phat…get a grip and back off.

no, ebay expressly does not use western union, and for that price it is a scam
