How do I stop my former g/f from emailing or seeing me online?

I have my stealth setting set at permanently offline, I have her name on the ‘ignore’ list, and all her email addresses are blocked. I’m still receiving IM’s from her. As of tonight, I received an email from her as well, although it was a card and not from a yahoo site, but it was her email address just the same. I double-checked to make sure I had her email address typed exactly correct..and it was. Yahoo isn’t being of any help; telling me to delete Messenger, and redownload it, which I’ve already done. Then they turn around tell me to put her on ignore, which I’d already done and I’ve told them everything I’ve done. The latest suggestion from them was to simply delete her. I KNOW that doesn’t work. I’m at my wits end with this..and dont’ know what to do apart from closing my email account. I don’t feel I should have to do this when the Yahoo product has failed me. What do I do to prevent my former g/f from contacting me???

You can block her emails by listing her as spam in your inbox. On yahoo messenger you can put her on ignore and you can go in to the stealth settings and change it so you always look offline.

Can’t you just talk to her and let her have her say to you…then she will have mutual closure as opposed to obviously feeling she has more to say to you. Then after that just ignore her if it continues. Sometimes a woman needs to get some things off their minds to move on.

Ignore/delete/don’t open stuff from her, mark it as spam etc. but you may have to change your ID, don’t use your complete real name or accurate birthdate in your profile, in fact you may want to change ID info on a regular basis. I don’t reccomend telling her you went gay, (that always gets around fast and to the WRONG people), and don’t try scaring her with weird stuff or she’ll probably show up ready in leather with cuffs and a whip.

I know on AIM you can go online and be invisible. I do it all the time. Doing it now, as a matter of fact. Try downloading AIM and using as your IM service…(it’s free)
