Guys, I have never had a computer – EVER. I want to buy a laptop – help me?

I want a laptop that will connect to a cable connection (optimum online – New York area)- I basically want to use it for surfing the net, online purchases, bills, porno, and emailing (yes, I said porno-everyone does it). I want to be able to walk around the house using it with a card that will read to my modem. I want some good suggestions on laptops that are light and under $700, with good quality screen, performance, and not difficult to navigate. I want Windows, not a Mac, I’m not familiar with Mac software.

always use to look for the best deals out there. I bought my laptop thru one of their links and it was for $569 + tax. You have to always check up on it to get the best deals.
