Ok, so I met this guy on a dating site and we’ve been emailing eachother back and forth since early January and have spoken on the phone several times. We never met in person because he is in the military and overseas right now but he asked me out on a date and flirts with me on the phone and in email. He says that because of his job it’s difficult for him to have a relationship right now but says he would like to continue getting to know me and looks forward to meeting me when he comes back to the states. Is he really into me or is he just playing mind games? He’s also 7 years older than me (I’m 20 and he’s 27) do you think he thinks I’m young and nieve and is trying to take advantage of me? And do you think he could be also talking to other girls online and calling them as well? He says that before talking to me he chatted with other girls but they scared him off easily because they were being to clingy. He still talks to me so I must be doing something right. What do u think?

Okay keep in mind he is overseas…
don’t trust him too easily! Just talk to him and be a good friend. Just to have EXPECTATIONS…and you’ll be okay.

Wow…I have never been a big fan of the internet dating scene. It seems kind of scary to me. I am sure it can work, but just be careful. I don’t think that age matters too much, but the fact that you have never met him (in person) is kind of strange. I would not put too much into it until he proves that he is serious by visiting you. I would certainly not call myself committed to someone I had never met. Just be careful and be his friend until it works itself out. If it is meant to be, it will happen. Good luck!!!
