What is a DNS Black Hole / List ? How to get off the list if put on it?

I’m trying to register for a forum and it is preventing me from doing so, citing that I am on such a list. But I have done no spamming / mass emailing of any kind, so I don’t know why I would be on the list. How do I remove myself so I can participate in said forum?

More than likely someone on your ISP has done a lot of it, or your ISP is known for it.
If you are using a proxy, that could also be a reason.
Stop using the proxy, or find out if you ISP has a history of spamming.

go to the link below and put your IP addy in the blackhole spot. this will allow you to see what list your on and you should be able to contact them. it may be your ISP that is blackholed
