How do I clear a mass amount of email out at one time?

I haven’t used my email account in a long time… I was using another account…. I have a mass of messages that I want to delete. How do I do a mass delete ?

Click the edit box on top left of the page. Choose select all. Then delete.

Select the messages you want to delete with Shift+click and or Ctrl+click and click Delete.
If you want to delete all messages in a folder: click the little check box in your header bar (the one with From, Subject, … written on it) to select all messages and click Delete.

put the cursor on the top one that you want to delete, then hold down the shift key and select the bottom one. You have selected a block of e-mails. Now delete those. Done!
