How would I export Excel cells to yahoo email address bar?

I have a database with hundreds of emails. I want to be able to send a mass email to them, but I think there has to be a way to just plop those cells into my To: address bar. I can copy and paste, but that uses a whole line for each address. There has to be another way. I have Excel 2007 and can’t find anything on Microsoft’s website that is specific to Yahoo. It’s all Outlook.

  1. Chaminda Says:

    - Go to your yahoo account.
    - Then go to Contacts tab and select Import/Export Link
    - First, export your contacts in the yahoo.CSV format
    - Save that file in the same format (csv)
    - You need only the header row to continue, so delete all other rows.

(Above steps are only needed to get the yahoo’s data upload format. If you already have it, just skip the above steps)

    - Copy-paste all your email addresses in the email address column
    - Under Category column, type any name you want it should be same for all.
    - You may have to fill the first, last, nickname columns also. But if you don’t have them ready, just type something (your recipients will be able to see what you type under these columns, so put something like friends, Contacts etc.
    - Go to yahoo contacts again and this time go to import
    - Select Yahoo.CSV for Choose a program to import contacts from:
    - Select your file import

    - when you want to send the email, just type the Category name you put in your upload file in the To box.

If it doesn’t work, add more details or send me an email.
