Online Home School?

Location: Philadelphia PA. Does anyone know If a child who didn’t attend school for two years will about to join the Online Home School program? (9th grade) I know, I know. I’m trying my best to change my life around and do whats best for me. My parents are also immigrants which means I’m the one in the family that speaks English (I do try) Some of the home/online schooled requirements needs a person who can teach you. But I do not have that. Is there anyway I will be able to join? even If I do not have any high school credits? reason I’m asking is that.. I’ve tried emailing them, but they were very non helpful.

As you enter high school through Agora, it becomes more teacher directed meaning the parent takes on a different role. So, you can do it.
Did you fill out the enrollment paperwork and submit it? If you have decided you want to attend Agora, that would be the first step for you.
Hope this helps.

Well if you’re not to set on that online school you might try Penn Foster, it’s very easy to use and it teaches things in the most common sense way possible. It doesn’t require any adult teachers because they give you the books and you teach yourself. Hope this helps!

You should be able to join. Just go ahead and apply.
Here are some other options for computer based homeschooling:
Since you’re in ninth grade you should be able to complete most of the work yourself.
Good luck!
