My professor for online class has not shown up yet?

I’m taking a few classes online this semester, two of them with the same professor and both are needed to graduate. The professor left instructions to read the syllabus and begin assignments but she hasn’t posted the syllabus yet for either course. The bookstore doesn’t have the books for either course doesn’t know what the instructor wants done. I’ve tried emailing her and her inbox is full. I’ve tried calling and have received no response. My classmates in both courses have encountered the same problem. I’ve never had this problem with an online course before and I’m at a loss as to what to do. I can’t drop the courses because this is my final semester and I can’t take them in person because I work full time. I tried emailing the director of my program but I guess he can’t help me because it’s a different campus and the school doesn’t list a department head on their site for that campus. What do I do now?

That department head should know who to contact at another campus or at least have the resources to find out. I would continue to call several times a day until you have your answer. You’ve already paid for the course, you deserve answers.

there should be someone called the Dean of Academics. I suggest a call to that person.
I will presume that you have thoroughly combed through the course website and the syllabus is nowhere to be found: some instructors put the thing in the wrong place.
Of course, yet another possibility is that the instructor is injured or in the hospital and the department chair dropped the ball and didnt get a new instructor assigned yet………
