Do you think this is a Scam?

I’m so nervous desperate for work: I can’t tell if this is a scam. A job fair guy gave me a card, I emailed my resume, and now I’m part of a mass-interview tomorrow. (Seems brainwashy..)
In summary: ‘Dear sir or madam, thank you for calling us/emailing us. We have reserved a seat for you Friday night at 7 at our storage facility (warehouse) two cities over. Bring resume hours u can work. The session will last an hour and you cannot enter or leave because the doors are locked. (Agoraphobia comes to mind.)
My main concerns:
-I have no idea what the job is about. Possibly Lawns (?)
-12 hour work days. Yikes.
-Pays $100 (below minimum) upto $500 (way above minimum) a day.
-No paychecks, just under the table.
-There is NO way to call these people. I tried. The email even says Don’t bother replying.
-Then again, I need money and a job is a job. .. Even if they pay me half of min. , right?
NOW I know not to give them money because most scams do that. But otherwise does this seem scammy?
They have youTube account:

Brainwashy is right. I’m thinking it’s one of those MLM sales organizations that is actually more like a cult. Probably the way you earn money with them is to recruit your own group of people to lock in a storage facility for an hour.
I’d skip it and look for a REAL job.

It’s sounds fishy. Being paid under the table is a big flag. And if something would go wrong you have no way to contact them. To me it screams scam, If you do go atleast you know to not give them money. I know desperate times call for desperate measures.

I reck its abit of a scam, but if yr still set on going id take another person with you to wait outside or something, just so you know you have some sort of ‘safety’ in case anything goes wrong.
and make sure you take yr phone
it DOES seem like a scam but if you go for it ,then good luck!

Even if it isn’t a scam per se, it’s not something you want be a part of–locked doors, no means of contact, under the table. Sounds like they’re up to something suspicious. Working at McDonald’s would be better!

Do not go under any circumstances! The mere fact that they wrote you cannot enter or leave because the doors are are locked is a big red flag. No one is going to prevent me from leaving anywhere!
Do not go to this scam! They are trying to take advantage of you!
I would call the authorities because it’s a scam!
I have had my fair share of scams and believe me the wolves are out there to take advantage of the desperate job seekers.

Yeah, sounds like a rip off. Sounds like one of those commission only sales jobs — F working for commission only in these times!!
Locked doors? why? because you’ll want to RUN!!!
Guess it couldn’t hurt to go — leave your checkbook at home!! I wouldn’t go…… but thats me

I really don’t think its a scam. I looked at their website and it seems perfectly fine. The only reason they probably lock the doors, is because its a warehouse, they keep their goods and equipment there and they probably want to filter out anyone who would try to steal or harm their equipment. They’ll probably make sure no one has taken anything when they leave. And, depending on where it is they might be locking the doors for your protection. You might want to try the website I sent to find a way to contact these people because the email they might’ve sent you was probably from an automated address.

under the table screams scam to e right away or it’s commission sales telemarketing or something equally distasteful. and the locking you in thing sounds illegal for safety/fire hazard purposes.
I don;t understand why the pay would vary so much unless it was cold calling commission sales or something like a scam getting people to give you their credit card info and them charging them some outrageous fee for something bogus
