Ordering Online?
Posted by admin | Filed under Other - Internet
During the Christmas season I ordered a product online using a prepaid card. A month later I am yet to get my product. I have tried emailing them but they are yet to answer and there phone number contain an area codes plus 8 other digits (000-0000-0000), which is a number I don’t know how to call. What steps should I take to get my product or get my money back.

Start by contacting the people that sold you the prepaid card. Is this a bank?

where did you purchase this from? What type of payment did you use? I’m asking because Ebay allows you to get your money back within a certain time frame….something like 30 days. On top of that if you used paypal, you can also get your money back through them. If you used a website such as amazon, or something not auction form, try contacting the website. If this was some shady deal, as it sounds from the phone number, I’m afraid you may be out your money. The only thing left that you could try is contacting the card that the purchase is made on and explain the situation to them.

If you bought it through E-bay or used PayPal you may have some recourse. You may check with your card company they might help you out. Be careful about dialing numbers in other countries. Some work like a *** hotline and they charge big bucks per minute.

Well no offence but why would you buy something from someone whos phone number is (000) 000 0000???? This is a total SCAM, heres a bit of advice, when your buyting things off the internet look for a Secure Site symbol, and their Contact Us info, to see if they are professional, because a key of detecting a false site is Professionalism, if it doesn’t look pro then LEAVE and NEVR come back to the site (you never know the site may have put a bug on your IP address). Do cancel the credit card or whatever you bought it from or else you will be the next victim of FRAUD.

If the phone number has so many digits, then chances are that you ordered something from another country. – I don’t know where you live, but here in the U.S. it would something like 1-800-555-1212 but you’re saying it is an area code, plus 8 other digits, sounds like too many digits.
If that phone number is in the U.S., it should be 1 + an area code + 7 digits, otherwise it might be from another country.
I hope this helped.
