How to re-size pictures on my computer from a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS?

I have the Powershot SD1100 IS. After editing pics with the Canon software and saving them to my desktop or a folder, the pics are anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 MB’s. With my old Kodak camera, prior to saving them to the desktop or a folder, i could re-size (75%, 50%, 25%) the pictures down to around 300 to 600 KB’s. Much more suitable for emailing. Anybody know how to do this resizing with the Canon software, i can’t seem to find this feature?
how does one go about emailing video? like from a digital camera?

Is there a certain program? I know how to upload pics off the camera but the videos I’m not sure. Is it easier to just make a personal website for that purpose, like to communicate with long distance family?
Anyone with Kodak Easyshare Software?

I have the kodak easyshare software for my computer and have used it for about 4 years. Recently there was a pop up that said there was an update so I clicked yes to install it. Now, when I plug the camera in and transfer movies, the movies will not email. It says something about the MOV format. Anyone know what that means or how to fix it? We have family out of state and I love emailing video’s of my children and now none of them will go through. Thanks in advance
