When you’re emailing somebody that you met online and?

and you bring up talking on webcam and they start acting funny, what would you think? This is the second time this is happening to me!! The first guy totally got weird after i mentioned it. He told me he didn’t have a webcam then the emails dwindled from there. But the thing is i’m like 90% sure that he’s not lying about his pics. I facebooked him and i saw his pic on there too (i didn’t add him or anything.. i just saw his pic and in general, i just didn’t feel that he was lying but of course, you never know w/ ppl you meet online).
The second guy had said on his profile that he’s White. But from the pics that he sent me, he looks completely ASIAN. Now i mention talking on webcam and he is suddenly taking forever to email me back. Yet he was the one badgering me about sending more pics.
If you were in my situation, what would you think of this!?!
sorry to post it here but this is the most mature section and i’m hoping to get some replies here.
the only reason i mentioned it is b/c they always wanna see what you look like. The 2nd guy was asking me for pics repeatedly.
ruth: I’m wondering the same thing… if a guy brought it up, i’d totally be ok with it. Of course if i knew it was innocent intentions. And i always made my intentions clear. I said here are some more pics and later on, we can talk on webcam if you want. Keywords…. IF YOU WANT. I mean he can always say no. But to just not write back?!? Really really suspicious.
oracleofohio: yeah i see what you’re saying.. thanks for the reply. I just worry that demanding all that early on can scare them away. But then i think that shouldn’t scare away a good man, right? Maybe i can explain about the jerks i’ve met and how i just wanna be sure of who i’m talking to. I met these guys on eharmony though. I always thought eharmony was a good site with probably less freaks and weirdos than the rest. Guess not!
Sometimes i wonder if it’s just a coincidence and i’m just over thinking it? Maybe something else that i said scared them off and not the webcam idea?
