mass emailing

There were a ton of red flags from the start, but I didn’t think there was any harm in emailing back to her. After a few weeks this person now wants me to send money through Western Union to Nigeria to help pay for the school certificate to be released or something like that.

Anyway, is there someone I could forward the email to and have someone from law enforcement go to the address where the money is supposed to be sent? I’d like to send this Nigerian scammer who preys on lonely guys to jail.

I’m just curious. He says he is looking for something long-term and seems genuinely interested in me. We’ve only gone on two dates but talk a lot. I haven’t been on there since I first started emailing him, but out of curiousity today I got online to see what he was up to. He’d logged in two days ago. I’m just wondering what the etiquette is on this.
When I logged onto today I also deleted my account, not because I’m putting all my eggs in one basket. Just that I’ve met a couple people who weren’t what they said they were and there were a lot of ******** on there too. I’m a busy working girl and don’t want to keep up on it anymore.

i have emailing and talking to a guy i met online 3 months ago. we get on sooo well and i have seen heaps of pictures videos of him and vice versa so i know we are gonna fancy each other. we totally get each others humour and have such a laugh together. he was meant to come to see me for the first time this weekend and i got a long email off him yesterday saying he had met someone last weekend but he still wants to come, but doesnt think its fair on me and what do i think. he said he doesnt know how things will develop with this girl and he wants to know my thoughts. i was very upset but wrote back taht there was no point in meeting up and take care, good luck with her and keep in touch. he has now been poking me again on facebook and sending me jokes. i dont know what to think. we got on very well. i cannot imagine him getting on as well with her to be honest but i dont know what to do next. he lives 2 hours away and this girl is closer. i know nothing about her. he might tire of her or it could be the love of his life. should i keep up contact and keep poking him or should i create some distance so he might miss me? whats the best thing to do at this point? thanks so much, really not sure what to do and feeling very sad at what could have been…….

Is it really bad to meet and get to know someone you’ve met online in a chatroom???

How do you know if you can trust them? If you’ve been instant messaging them for a few weeks, emailing, and you talk to them on the phone regularly, THEN is it okay to go ahead and meet up? Or is it too dangerous all together, even if there’s tons of people around and you brought a friend or two with you??

I’ve got a profile on Yahoo! Personals and Plentyoffish and every single time I email a girl whose profile is in my criteria, they either NEVER respond, my email gets deleted, or I may even get a b*itch message in return. WHAT GIVES? I don’t understand. I’m a nice, fun, intelligent, and romantic guy with goals in life, I don’t look that bad, my profiles are described pretty good, and on Yahoo, whenever I send icebreakers, sometimes, I’ll get a positive response. But with emails, it’s NEVER!!! I mean…I don’t type anything obnoxious, which lots of guys do…but I need some help here and from the women, what should I type that would make you respond positively? Even if our interests are common, still, I get resisted. I’m getting closer to giving up online dating and all the dates I’ve gone on, here in AZ, have been from girls I’ve met online…

I met this girl over Yahoo! Answers and we’ve been emailing each other for several months now. I thought I found a real friend in her, but we had a huge fight today. I don’t want to stop being her friend, but I just can’t stand the way she treats me. Especially since I have really crappy friends in real life. Is it stupid to cry over it, since we haven’t really met in person? I don’t know what to do.

How do you feel about meeting someone online? I met this guy on Craigslist and we have just been emailing each other. No personal data or pictures exchanged. We are being respectful of each others privacy. But it went from friendly emails to flirty ones…..not purposely but I think because there might be something. How do you all feel about online talking that may turn into something? And is it really safe? I know you cant always be too sure. But how do you really know if the guy is telling the truth? I guess there really is no way, just have to go with your gut. Help me please!
