Spam? I accidently hit one of my friend’s email address as spam. How do un-block her email address?
Posted by admin | Filed under Spam Bulk Mail
We just started emailing each other fun stuff, and things. One day, instead of deleating her message, I hit the spam button on Yahoo mail. How can I un-block her email address? I know there’s a list of blocked addresses in a folder of mine, but how can I open that, and unblock her? It’s personal, because I really like this woman friend, and she likes me too. Please help me. I miss her emails.
It doesn’t go into the bulk folder when you hit spam. It might go into the trash. I found it says in my blocked addresses list, her name isn’t in there. Weird.
Also, on the upper right of Yahoo Mail, there’s an options thing to click. It leads to a page which lists blocked addresses. But, her email address isn’t listed, though I KNOW I block hers by mistake.
I made the mistake of trying to remove myself from an emailing list and even though I stopped recieving?

Not sure who to send this to so figured I’d start with you.
2weeks ago in the Niagara Gazette we called about an ad for a 1967 Mustang for sale by emailing the person. After two weeks of emailing back and forth, we are convinced this is a scam. The car was for only $4,000 and we could buy it by sending money through Yahoo! Finance. We’ve emailed back and forth and received lots of pictures (great looking car). We’ve asked him/her to call but came up with the reason that they were in Iraq last year and now couldn’t hear very well. We said we wanted the car so he/she said that Yahoo! Finance would contact us immediately. Well, they did the next day but in the paperwork they listed a 1998 Toyota as the deal. I wrote the person back and told them about that mistake and it was immediately corrected. Hmmm When I emailed yesterday to have him/her send a copy of the vehicle title, he/she couldn’t because it was already crated to be sent to us. (We went along with him/her too to see how far it would go.) The $4,000 included shipping costs too! Nobody sells a 1967 Mustang that looks perfect for $4,000. When they involved Yahoo! Finance in the deal I thought Yahoo should be notified but not sure how.
As the saying goes, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Thanks for listening.
How do I correct an online chat mistake?
Posted by admin | Filed under Singles Dating
I’m 42 y/o SWF and a guy I’ve been seeing for a month now is 52 y/o. We kept our relationship as friends by seeing each other a couple times and emailing a few times as well. We moved into a ‘more then friends’ stage about a week and a half ago which also included online chatting.
We’ve been doing A LOT of flirting online and in person and we’re getting to the soon to be ‘intimate’ stage when I unknowingly pushed a flirty joke to far. He is now basing our entire four weeks together on a couple lines from our online chat last night.
He sent me this sign: 8===
I asked if that was his poker.
I said it looked like a long one.
There’s a line or two (?) I don’t remember.
Then I said what you have is plenty.
He is freaking out. He thinks I am some shallow female only looking for a guy with a BIG poker. Yes I know this is sending up red flags of insecurities on his part. But, I really, really like this guy and I can’t get him to believe that I care about him. The only way he’s communicated with me in the past 24+ hours is by online chatting.
How can I successfully apologize over this sometimes impersonal avenue of communicating via online chat and emails?

How can I report email abuse by a yahoo subscriber?
Posted by admin | Filed under Other - Yahoo! Mail
This yahoo subscriber continues to send me love messages although I told him/her to stop. I once made the mistake of sending pictures to a group without listing the group addresses in the BCC line (instead of the To line), so I am just waiting for this person to being emailing my friends and, worse, business associates. Therefore, simply blocking this person’s email address will not stop her from contacting others.
