I want to download directly to my PC and not have to pay internet/texting charges for each photo. It has a USB port, but I have read that maybe you need the Motorola Phone Tools CD to do this? I have also read that this software is junk and usually stops recognizing the phone after a short time. All I would want to do is download photos. Don’t need to manage the phone book or anything. If I plug into a USB cable, will the PC recognize this just like a flash drive so I can drag and drop photo files?

i have a motorola pebl br50. i tried emailing them, didnt work, picture message, didnt work. i have a data transfer cable but dont know what software to use. Also my service provider is Voce wireless dont know if that helps any. would prefer a software i dont have to pay for! lol

i already plugged in the the cable and windows did not see it as a removable drive!
