How can you find out if someone is real or not online when they won’t give a address or phone number?
Posted by admin | Filed under Other - Internet
Have been emailing and instant messaging some individuals for quite sometime but they will not give any proof or evidence that they are real. Would like to know if it is possible to find out if they are real or not. They will not meet in person either.
I have been talking to someone online for about six months and they give many excuses as to why they won’t meet or even give a phone number or address, I have given them mine. I guess I can’t understand why someone would spend that much time chatting online without ever making theirselves real to you. I guess I am just a sucker learning the hard way about the internet.

Giving my mobile no. to an internet ‘friend’?
Posted by admin | Filed under Friends
Hey…
I’m unsure as to give my mobile number to someone I talk to online.
I’m a member of a youtube group which is like a forum for you to talk to people with similar interests.
We then started emailing and I’m part of his big emailing list.
Lots of people in the group supposedly have his mobile number.
It’s a BNP youtube group.
I’m still quite young and I’m worried that he could just be a con and then a nutter will have my phone number.
I’m pretty sure he;s OK.
Is there a way I can talk to him.
Maybe I should go out of town to a phone box and ring him. Therefore he doesn’t know my mobile number or where I was when I made the call.
How can I ‘withhold’ my number on my phone?
thanks

I have met a girl online (eharmony). We finished the introductory questions and now have been emailing each other for the past few days. As it ends up, we went to high school together, but did not know each other all that well. How long should I wait before I ask here for her phone number?
How do you enter international phone numbers into online resumes?

For example, I’m trying to put down one of my international references on Careerhub.com and the problem is that I can’t enter in the entire phone number or else it won’t let me submit the form because the format does not match the U.S. phone number format. I tried emailing them, but they haven’t given me a reply and I can’t wait that long. Is it ok just to put down similar numbers starting with the country code and hopefully they would call me for the real number? I don’t know what to do….
How many emails with online date before real date?
Posted by admin | Filed under Singles Dating
I’m emailing with someone and it is going well, we have sent about 5 each…I’m wondering if there’s a rule of thumb before I ask her for a phone number, or just jump right into asking her out on a date!
It’s hard to tell, don’t want to jump the gun, but also want to strike while the iron is hot.

wouldn’t respond right away. He would always keep in touch with me, sending me a note every once inawhile. I finally broke down and gave him my phone number and he gave me his. We started texting eachother and he would call periodically. I was in KC this last weekend on business, and he sent me a very sweet text..we texted back forth and the next day I sent him a text asking if he wanted to go to the movies with me. He was thrilled and we went together. During the last part of the movie, he held my hand and when we left, he gave me a hug goodbye. I’m not usually that forward to give my number first and I pretty much asked him out on a date…I’ve been feeling like maybe I was too forward. After the date, he sent me the sweetest text saying how much he enjoyed our date and was looking forward to more dates. I sent him a text today and he called me, I had to call him back and we had an incredible conversation. My question is was I too forward in initiating our first date?
